  • work on a different project each week ie. stool, boxes, wood carving etc
  • materials can be bought from the tutor for £10-£15 depending on the project
  • advice and guidance will be given whilst learning and applying basic woodworking skills

Award winning woodworker Timothy Dixon studied furniture and cabinet making at Newark College for 3 years and has been featured in regional newspapers and “Furniture and Cabinet Making” magazine. Tim has experience in all sides of woodworking and furniture making from furniture restoration to contemporary kitchens to traditional chair making.
