- No experience required, the workshop will give you the confidence to use your own sewing machine
- Learn how to thread your sewing machine and also how to change threads
- Practice with straight and curved edges and various seam finishes
- Learn how to alter the stitch tension, change needles etc
- Practice sewing on various sorts of fabric
- Make a simple bag or apron to practice your skills
- Refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch

Terri Williams is a self taught dressmaker with over 25 years experience. Terri has run her own companies specialising in innovative transfers, hand stitching and embellishments on garments, accessories and cushions. She has also freelanced for Paul Smith and Holland Esquire as a details designer and hand customiser.
